Maui United Way is working to advance the common good by focusing on education, income and health. These are the building blocks for a good life – a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health. Maui United Way works to support programs that address Maui County’s health and human service needs to ensure their local families are supported in their time of need.
From helping individuals find food and safe shelter in a time of crisis or providing health services, medical care and support services to families in need, Maui United Way’s community partner agencies do inspiring work. Their goal is to create long-lasting changes that prevent problems from happening in the first place.
Maui United Way pledged to follow NNSI's 5th High-Impact Practice (using data to support their theory of change) to aid them in measuring their system's needs and impact on social investment.
